For more than eleven years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chaplain at SLTC. I know your time here can be demanding—and for many of you, it means being a long way from home.
As Pastor of Trenton First Baptist Church, I want you to know there’s a church family here that would love to get to know you. Whether you need encouragement, prayer, or simply a place to belong, you’re always welcome.

Welcome, y’all! We’re so glad Trenton gets to be part of your journey. I’m Candie, the ministry leader for Home Away From Home, and our ministry is exactly what the name says—a place to belong while you’re away from home.
We’d love to feed you, give you a place to hang out, watch a game, catch a fish, hit a golf ball—or simply relax and feel at home for a while. We believe it’s no accident that you’re in this place at this time. We can’t wait to meet you, love on y’all, and see what BIG things God has planned for you!
